Return from Paradise
Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia.
Settling back into life in England after a life changing four months of globe trotting. It's a shock!
I miss moving to new places every few days, having no commitments or responsibilities, experiencing new ways of life, new food, new cultures and that feeling of total freedom.
I spent a lot of time on Koh Phangan where I met the most incredible people; artists, musicians, dancers, kindred souls full of light and love! My month there was filled with singing, dancing, frolicking in the jungle, climbing waterfalls, weaving jewellery, amazing thai cooking, swimming in the sea, hula hooping, drawing, painting, magic parties, racing around the island on mopeds and spending nights under the stars talking from the heart and soul.
I was sad to leave, the island calls me back.
Hair-dye fiasco No.1 - Cambodia - flooded the bathroom of our guesthouse... looked like someone had been shot! Couldn't let housekeeping into the room for about 4 days.
Hair-dye fiasco No.2 - Malaysia - in a small salon in Kuala Lumpur, had my long hair attacked by a Malaysian lady boy and his assistant! Pulling my hair in all directions, laughing hysterically... I don't think they'd seen hair like mine before.
Sunrise at Angkor Wat.
Offering at Chiang Mai's temple on the hill.
Working out what to do with my life now. I was supposed to go to University, but that seems so dull now in comparison to travelling. I want to go away again and continue exploring... I have itchy toes and an impatient nose!
